My Skin Care Routine

In my search to find the perfect (and cheapest as much as possible) skin care for my ultra sensitive skin, I have to try different products to know what is best for me. I started out with using Nivea Sparkling White Collection. Everybody knows that I am obsessed with having a perfect white skin. So in my quest to find the correct skin products, it must have a strong whitening substance. So I could obtain my semi-freakish less dark skin tone.

To start the daily skin care routine, I wash my face with Christian Dior DiorSnow Sublissime Whitening Foam Cleanser. I know, this is very expensive but I easily get irritated with facial soaps. This is the only facial wash that does not give me allergies and itchy feeling.

Nivea Sparkling White Whitening Toner is the second step for my daily skin care routine. I have to clean my face using cotton balls to remove dirt and oil that aren’t washable by my facial wash. After washing off the dirt, next step is to moisturize. Since, I wanted a very strong effect; I used Day Care Moisturizer for both night and day. Day Care moisturizer has SPF and tough substances that lacks the night cream. And it is a lot cheaper. I use Nivea Sparkling White Day Care Moisturizer.

But after using Nivea Sparkling White Collection for more than 5 years, my skin got used to it and it stops from obtaining what I want. So I switch to Loreal White Perfect Collection. Again, I used its White Perfect Toner and its White Perfect Day Care Moisturizer.

But in addition to my daily regime, I also used Loreal Revitalift Aqua Milky Toner. It is use to firm your skin and prevents you from having wrinkle. I know, I am not that old for anti-wrinkle products but I read it from someone else’s blog (someone that I think has better experience than I) that you can never be too young for this. And it is actually a toner to prevent wrinkles, so I guess prevention is better than cure.

However, I’ve been quite obsessed with how Korean products are so available here in the Philippines. So when Etude House, the coolest Korean Make-Up line and Skin Care had its launched here in the Philippines, I never let it passed. I read a lot of good reviews about how amazing and affordable their products are.

Now I am using, Etude House O2 Whitening Toner to replace my Loreal Toner and Olay’s Natural White Moisturizer to replace my Loreal Moisturizer. And since, we lived in a very hot and sunny country, I felt like I need another level of SPF, so I am using Nivea Sun Refreshing Milk Whitening with SPF 30. As a regular office douchebag, I have to wear at least a little bit make-up to give color to my usual pale skin. I read about BB Creams and how it gives wonder to skins, so I included Etude House BB Magic Cream to my daily morning routine. I used it as my base before I apply foundation.

At night, I am using two kinds of toner because I felt like the city is all over my face. I am all around the city everyday all day, so I couldn’t imagine how filthy my pores are. As an addition to my O2 White Toner, I use Belo Essentials Pore Tightening Whitening Toner. I love the pore tightening feature because my pores are embarrassingly big than the usual. (lolz). In addition to my Olay moisturizer, I spread an efficient amount of Etude House Sleeping Pack on my face for pore tightening purpose because again, I have big pores.

It's been quite a struggle before I finally settle for these brands. It took a lot of money and wasted stuffs before I became satisfied. I actually skipped some of the products I used that wasn't good enough because it could probably take a lot of my time writing about it and you reading this.
